How To Get Paid Twice on Medium. The Real Deal Defined
Is this applicable on Substack too? I think so.
No, this story is not a clickbait.
It was a surprise, as I read in one of Tony Stubblebine's stories.
Is this for real?
Let me write about this in more detail.
First and foremost, let me refer to this term — ‘Link Love.’
Tony explains this term as an old term for when one blogger references another.
People are referencing me in their writing using Medium’s @ feature, which I did above for Tony.
This way, you are appreciating a writer’s work and partnering with him/her in your content writing journey.
Secondly, You can get paid twice by Medium.
Tony explains — So a book is an example of getting paid twice. First, get paid by Medium. Then get paid by putting a book out.
He further mentions in his article:
I’ve been trying to convince a conference company to move their publishing over here. Their speakers write amazing articles for the conference blog. And the whole idea for this publisher is: write here, get extra distribution and some money for your authors, then send a newsletter to your followers every time you have a conference. Get paid twice.
So, we can use the same strategy over here on Substack. What do you think?
